Our Mission
To provide efficient service, access,
and adequate space for the effective delivery of human, social, educational,
medical, recreational, legal and community based services to families, elderly,
youth, and individuals.
History
The Valley Junction Residential
Association was incorporated in 1991. Its main purpose and goals are to address
and advocate for the development and preservation of the blighted and neglected
conditions in the Valley Junction residential district. The Residential
Association was instrumental in the creation of the Eddie Davis Community
Center. Its members are among the volunteers who provide and support the
Community Center programs.

The Center was incorporated in 1991.
The purpose and goals are to provide education, recreational, human, family
services, job training, elderly services, and referral services to citizens in
the community. In addition, services are available to individuals and families
throughout the western suburbs, the metropolitan area, Polk County, and
surrounding counties--Warren, Dallas, and Madison. Park and convenient to the
western suburbs. EDCC is strategically located at the Western edge of the
Valley Junction area, adjacent to Holiday Park and convenient to the western
suburbs.
Forthcoming Events
Evening Meals will be
served on Tuesday and Thursday effective September 11.
Free Lunch will be
served daily effective September 11.
* All meals are
sponsored weekly by different Churches affiliated with (COG) Church Opportunity
Group and community organizations.
